BEUMER Group strengthens presence in UK and Ireland

The BEUMER Group, parent company of BEUMER, Crisplant and Koch - and one of the world's leading suppliers in the fields of conveying and loading, palletizing and packaging as well as sortation and distribution systems, gathers all UK and Ireland activities in Leicestershire.

In a move to further strengthen its sales and customer support in UK and Ireland, the BEUMER Group announces that it will gather all business activities in one location. The intralogistic expert's objective is to respond even faster and with more flexibility towards local market demands. The BEUMER Group provides support to both Crisplant and BEUMER customers in UK and Ireland. Byron Leeson, Customer Support Manager, explains "With the gathering of all our activities in one location, we can now support our customers through a local and targeted presence, rapid delivery of spare parts and further improved service". 

The BEUMER Group, based in Beckum, Germany, is a family-run business 75 years-experience in developing individual customer solutions, products and systems to provide greater efficiency in intralogistics. In August 2009, the Group acquired Crisplant a/s, and became one of the quality and world market leaders in the field of airport baggage sorting systems as well as sortation equipment for courier, express and parcel service providers.

The UK activities will be headed by Ranjit Bharba who most lately served as Managing Director, Crisplant Ltd. The company will operate from the former Crisplant Ltd. address in Ibstock, Leicestershire, from where both BEUMER and Crisplant Ltd. staff will also continue to support customers.
